On the 26 January 2021, a new Bill to transpose the EU Directive on Whistleblowing into law passed its first reading in Parliament.
Amendments to the Bill can be proposed by MPs by 8 February, 2022. The Bill has also been sent to civil society groups who participated in earlier public consultations and their proposals will be welcomed until 11 February 2022.
The date for the second reading has not yet been confirmed.
