The Agence Franรงaise Anticorruption’s (AFA) 2023 report reveals a 40% rise in whistleblower reports, with 435 cases in 2023โ49% of them anonymous. Of these, 62% led to action, including 33 referrals to prosecutors.
The AFA credited whistleblowers for exposing high-risk sectors like manufacturing and finance and pledged stronger protections, stating: “We are dedicated to fostering a secure environment where individuals can report misconduct without fear.”
