Italy’s newly designated whistleblowing authority – the anti-corruption has announced the launch of it’s new reporting platform.
The new portal is dedicated to receiving report on breaches, following the adoption of new whistleblower protection legislation in Italy on the 10 March 2023. The new legislation entered into force on 30 March 2023 and intends to transpose the EU Directive on Whistleblowing. It has been established in collaboration with Whistleblowing Solutions which is is an innovative social enterprise that carries out research and development creating a free and open-source software to support whistleblowers and the fight against corruption, based on the GlobaLeaks open source whistleblowing software.
The new platform, found at https://whistleblowing.anticorruzione.it/ – is a new version which the ANAC state “represents important evolution of the old platform in architectural and security terms, and implements the new reporting modules (public and private) adapted to the provisions of Legislative Decree No. 24/2023.”
