As the institution responsible for external reporting of irregularities (whistleblowing) the Croatian Ombudsman joined the Network of European Integrity and Whistleblowing Authorities (NEIWA).
The NEIWA’s objectives are to encourage international cooperation of institutions which protect and support whistleblowers across Europe and enabling consistent transposition and implementation of EU Directive 2019/1937 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law – the EU Directive on whistleblowing.
