Government Minister Kozloviฤ has met with Dr. Robert ล umi who started his term as president of the Commission for the prevention of corruption (CPC) on April 1st 2020.
The CPC reported that both parties agreed that the commission has sufficient know-how to take a central role in the new whistleblowing protection framework following the transposition of the EU Directive on whistleblowing, given additional financial and human capacities.
The Ministry of Justiceย reportedย that transposition is one of their key priorities and the Minister emphasised that legal protection has to be ensured for all types of whistleblowers.
