A draft Bill of amendments to transpose the EU Directive on Whistleblowing is in the interdepartmental comments procedure.
The proposed date that the amendments, which are needed to bring the currenting whistleblowing framework in line with the EU Directive’s minimum requirements, shall enter into force is 1 May 2022.
The deadline for all 27 Member States to transpose the Directive was 17 December 2021.
