A short one-week public consultation on draft whistleblowing law underway in Slovakia. The proposal of amendments to the current whistleblowing law are to transpose the EU Directive on Whistleblowing into Slovakian national law.
It appears the process was not advertised widely as no official responses were received. Until now, Slovakia was considered to have made minimal or no progress in implementing the directive which must be fully transposed by 17 December 2021.
