The Ministry of Justice in Romania has published a revised Draft Whistleblowing Law to transpose the EU Directive on Whistleblowing. The official deadline for the Directive to be transposed is 17 December 2021 and so Romania will miss the deadline. The Proposal expands the minimum standards required by the Directive, as indicated in it’s explanatory memorandum.
