When it comes to Poland, the ninth draft bill dated 12.07.2023 was published yesterday. The draft bill was already approved by the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers and is awaiting acceptance by the Council of Ministers. Then it might be passed to the parliament. The last bill has no significant changes compared with the previous one, besides that policemen, secret service officers and soldiers were listed as persons eligible to report irregularities. In view of parliamentary elections in Poland in October, the future of the bill is very uncertain. If the new law will not be passed until elections, we can come back to the starting point with a new government.
