It has been reported that in Danish media that the government demonstrated a commitment to extending the scope of a new law to transpose the EU Directive on whistleblowing to including reports of sexual harassment in the workplace in a communication to its political parties.
A draft Bill to implement the Directive is expected to be sent for public consultation in the next few weeks and then tabled to be discussed in March 2021 during the current parliamentary session. This would mean the public consultation will likely only be open for a few weeks.
